Movement Physicality

September 21st | Sunday | 10:00 AM
Small Stage

In the Movement Physicality workshop with Dmytr Vyskorka, participants will dive into a physically engaging exploration of movement and floorwork.

Crush (Miażdżenie)

September 23rd | Tuesday | 10:00 AM
Modelatornia Stage

Duration: 120 mins
Suggested Age: 16+

This workshop is a creative session focused on improvisation and the gradual development of structured movement tasks. One of the choreographic tools we’ll explore is the Brainfuck programming language, which we use in our performance Miazga.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience our creative methods “from the inside” and try them out physically – both individually and in dialogue with others.
The session aims to sharpen practical dance skills and stimulate the imagination, while also encouraging a sense of ease, play, and humor in movement. It offers tools that are useful for dancers and helps participants reconnect with their unique movement identity – their physical “self.”

Somersaults (Przewroty)

September 24th | Wednesday | 10:00 AM
Small Stage

Duration: 150 mins
Suggested Age: 16+

The dance improvisation workshop led by Joanna Jaworska and Paweł Grala revolves around the idea of “przewroty”—which means not only physical flips, but also mental somersaults.
During the session, we will focus on losing our habits, staying ahead of our thoughts, and surprising ourselves. We will set a pace and working structure that allows exploration to happen faster than our ability to plan or strategize.
We’ll examine what is unknown to us, act purely spontaneously, try to inhibit overthinking, and resist the temptation to fall back into the familiar.
The body, by nature, moves ahead of thought—but the mind can be deceptive and controlling. We’ll explore whether it’s possible to outsmart it.

Tany*

September 26th | Friday | 12:00 PM
Small Stage

Duration: 90 mins
Suggested Age: 15+

*“TANY” – a Polish word playfully referring to dancing together, going into movement with someone.

This contemporary dance class blends elements of improvisation, rhythm, and the integration of breath, voice, and movement.
Drawing on years of experience with various ensembles and collectives, I aim to create a welcoming and supportive space where each participant feels comfortable, free, and able to explore self-expression—both individually and within the group, inspired by one another.

Together, we’ll marvel at the body as a continuous source of inspiration for expression.
Expect energy, joy, and vibrant movement!
