A poignant, painful story of a man, who loses his livelihood in a blink of an eye, tumbles lower and lower down the career ladder, and whose private life falls apart.
The play, directed by Piotr Ratajczak, shows that a combination of adverse circumstances, behind-thescenes political actions and the pure human animosity can affect anyone, regardless of the time and system, in which they live.
The play was inspired by the script written by Agnieszka Holland and Andrzej Wajda for a well-known Wajda’s film under the same title.

THE MEDIA ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
The accuracy of political, sociological and psychological observations is striking. The pacing is neck-breaking, the actors – who momentarily change personas – are excellent. It’s enjoyable to watch.
