JK Opole Theatre looks for inspiration and a new theatrical language, it’s not afraid to experiment artistically and seeks multi-faceted dialogue.
JK Opole Theatre’s mission is to propagate art and culture in Poland and abroad. We pursue our goals through continuous search for a new theatrical language and diversification of our artistic offer, by inviting renowned drama artists to cooperate with us, as well as through creative dialogue with the audience. The Theatre’s activity, apart from performances, also offers educational activities, concerts, the Opole Theatre Confrontations “The Polish Classics” festival, exhibitions and meetings with artists. The rich dramatic traditions are cultivated simultaneously with searching for new functional areas of the theatre. We engage in dialogue concerning the contemporary social and political life, enter courageously the area of artistic experiment and look at reality from the point of view of the creator of culture.
